Paint on a digital canvas

I came across a sketch done by Richard Whitters a bit ago and I used that to sketch this guy (see previous post). Today I felt like painting him. So I did.

Art dump

I have been busy with life lately and the art'ing taking a back seat but I have still managed to make a few pieces. 

This one is an Agnar, created by a fellow who goes by Brandish Gilheim. 

Just a dwarf. Not happy with this one but if you like it... then all good. :)

Now I'm studying Richard Whitters. Genius! I think I did okay with this one. 

 Just a silly little cartoon I did one day at work. D&D has WAYYYY too many gods.

 Did this one up last night before bed. Had an idea, tried to capture it. Almost got it.

Hero Forge paintings

The other day I discovered this awesome site called Hero Forge where you can generate a 3d image and have them make a figurine for you. Perfect for us D&D players. I personally am a GM (or DM if you choose) so have no need for a character but for fun I made one of myself. I like Eagles and they are part of my heritage (last name is Ewing which is short for E-wing which is shorter from Eagle Wing Clan out of Scotland) and I put a 20 sided die on there because I'm the GM as mentioned. Anyways... I offered to my players a free paint up of their characters. One is done, the others are rolling in.

If you want me to paint one of these digital images up for you, just contact me at scotty.r.ewing@gmail.com and we can work out the deets. I'm thinking $15 USD. Takes me about 2 hrs so this is a steal in my opinion because hey... what is your time worth? I know mine is worth more than $7.50 an hour. lol. But, this is more just to have some fun. If I get swamped with orders, this price might have to go up.

In fact... first 10 get it at that price. After that... $20.

Before you complain about the colors... jeez... everyone does for some reason... the style is mine, Eastman used red on the originals and if you google search Ninja Turtle colors... you will find so many variations that its just dumb. I picked one and went with it.

Just a late night sketch on the tablet. No real direction on this one. Just letting the strokes create the image on its own.

An evening full of sketches

Spent the evening on the iPad pro 12.9 doodling all kinds of stuff. Some of it was influenced from Deviantart.com so if you see something familiar/similar... that is why.

Mer-fail

Experimenting with style on this one using the tablet. Not content which is okay... you need to fail a ton before you succeed so I just chalk this one up to a fail which means one step closer to getting that much better.
