Sorry, not sorry

I'm probably a bit too literal to make it as an editorial cartoonist I figure. 

This cartoon has sure garnered a bunch of responses over on FB. In less than 8 hrs there was over 80 comments and 130+ people giving a thumbs up, heart or angry face. 3 were angry faces actually. Thats about 4% of the 130 which is a fair indicator I think of how many people love Trump. FOUR PERCENT. If this doesn't tell you right there that the election system isn't screwed up then I don't know what does. There is just so much evidence to support it out there and this is just one more indicator. Out of the comments... the pro-Trumpers were either outright childish with attacks on my character or giving the weakest of arguments as to why this piece shouldn't have been made. The best one was that it is against the law. I love that one. The idea according to them is that I can't use someone elses work to sell my "social justice warrior" agenda. What a beauty that one was to hear. Just for shits and giggles folks... go to Google search and type in anything along the lines of "gay hellboy" or "nude hellboy" or "deadpool vs trump" or "superman fights trump" and so on. You will most certainly find many if not tons of images done by artists who do not own the rights to those characters and they are selling their agenda (whatever it may be). This is called fan art and its okay. When it stops being okay is if there is money being made as a result of the creation or maybe, just maybe the art piece is so big and getting so much reaction and its defamatory to the creator/owner... okay, then the piece should be pulled and can be forced to by legal action. 

Anywho... the exercise was interesting though. It got me blocked for a month for sharing politics on a comic forum and a dozen or so others to boot. I was able to sniff out the pro Trumpers in the group and block them so that was a win and found a few people who actually think Trump is a force for good and not evil. I even heard "Hellboy battles demons and evil so I think he would side with Trump". Mind blown. I mentioned that Hellboy hates and battles Nazi's and his white supremacist types so he would want to kick Trumps ass around the block twice. You should have seen how that went over. lol. 

A comic forum that doesn't allow politics or religion to be debated. Who here has never seen those two topics covered in any comic medium? I present to you for consideration... editorial comics in the papers as exhibit A. lol. I admit, people are sensitive and easily butt hurt now a days but hey, there are two things that need to be discussed and discussed hard and daily and that is politics and religion. People need to learn that these two topics are important to the health and safety of the worlds people and they need to learn how to discuss these things with "big boy" pants on and not like elementary kids slinging mud back and forth.
