Green Goblin

Playing around with a perspective angle I have never used before. Challenging. Didn't quite nail it but ah well... gotta pump out a thousand images before you make that amazing one. Chalk this up to one of those thousands made over the years.

Who?

Continuing on with the Ghostbusters theme... drew this guy with my own version of the pack/gun thing they use. I figured it was an appropriate time to use the Kirby crackle.

New pen, new book, new studies

Reference artist named "Zedig" and new tools to play with. Scratching lines with a Pentel Stylo. Interesting pen. I like it.

Sad times

When you draw Mcque-esque flying boats... you need to include flying whales right?

Things are always exciting at the Hero bar. Not really.

Sometimes just sitting with yer buds and having a cold one with a bit of small talk is all you need in life. A new strip done entirely on my Galaxy Note 5 phone.

Line therapy

Some folks color when they just need to zone out for a bit and relax. Others sit back and listen to music and so on. I tend to draw but a specific type of drawing... usually technical stuff with gears and metal and that sort of thing. That's what took place last night. Just some mind numbing lines being laid down and this is what came of it.

Ian Mcque inspired sketch

I have a whole ton of stuff printed off that is from Ian Mcque. I adore his work. the other day I used an image I found on the web as the foundation for this sketch. Not much of my sketch is all that original from the original I guess. I rough sketched the basics and then went to town trying to be creative with angles and machinery parts, etc. In the end its different but the same you could say. :)

Character studies and expressions

As often is the case... some of these are based off existing artists as I study them and some of these are all me. Hard to say which being that I drew these several days ago and I can't even remember what I had for breakfast today.

a DAB will do ya

Today's drawing was a tribute to one of the stupidest things (in my opinion) that took place in 2016... the bottle challenge and the Dab. FYI... when you have an inch of water in a water bottle... the odds of landing a flipped bottle is about 90% so it's not a real hard thing to accomplish. Do it with an empty bottle or a full bottle and you will get a bit of respect from this guy. And then there is the Dab dance move. SO annoying. Ah well... that's culture for you... full of annoyances. I will live.
