And one more for good measure

Here is my second go at this comic thing. Dialling in the little things a bit more and in my opinion making it look a bit more polished compared to the first. Plus, the joke is a perfect dad joke. Come on!

Almost there

I have been working hard lately studying styles and techniques and such in order to hopefully finally come up with a pro looking comic strip type thing. Here is my first go with those techniques and character styling of me and the wee teen.

The work space

I lucked out and had a steel angled thing that sits perfect on my desk, is heavy enough it doesn't slide around and because the cover on the iPad is magnetic, it sticks to the thing. Loving it. Here is my little work space. Part of it anyways. There are shelves on one side fulla books and tools etc.

I had one of these when I was a teen. Good lawd I have missed it ever since. Now they cost a few million to own. lol. Such a great old beast.

Home sick but still making the art

I have one hell of a chest/head cold today. Slept until noon and went to bed at 8. Just kicking my butt. And yet... I can still do the arting. Here is a sketch I did some time ago inspired by This Northern Boy over on Instagram. He does amazeballs work. Anyhow... figured I would do some experimenting with colours and such. Feel free to crit on anything. I can take it. I want it actually. Painted on iPad Pro 12.9
